The Stick Pile was started
as a way to draft the nuisance fallen limbs into service as a makeshift barrier
against pedestrian traffic through Scheherazade's back yard. As the years
passed (almost 15 of them), the Stick Pile simultaneously spilled down the hill
and grew to a height of fifteen feet.
It served its intended
purpose very well for many years, but eventually it was hauled away to the mulch
site of Little Bohemia. The Stick Pile was ultimately replaced by a fence
-- several, in fact. |
