In the field of History, Scheherazade advocates the reading of ancient primary sources. This stance has not earned her much regard in the halls of academe, wherein secondary commentaries are considered to be essential to understanding the context of any event or writer.

While Scheherazade does not disagree, she believes very strongly that there is no finite well of original thought. As such, she believes that fresh eyes with fresh vision uncolored by the later opinions of others may perceive things which no one has ever noticed before.
